Day 39- 89.3 miles (T=2819.6) into Port Huron, MI

Another hot, humid, cloudy and muggy day in Michigan. It is fairly flat here and the mental game is on. It is difficult to stay motivated through some of these miles although small eateries along the way where we get to meet locals and eat local homemade cuisine are fun. Here we are at Bud's, 10:30 am eating apple pie and giant sandwichs, what ever keeps your motor running and a lot of it! For some, after the ride Dairy Queen runs are essential, for others it is just a brew.
